In 1985 agent Camarena was trying to solve a kidnapping,but on February 7,1985 he was kidnapped and his pilot. After they were kidnapped the D.E.A launched an investigation to find agent Camarena and his pilot. Soon the police claimed that they were mistakenly kidnapped by a man and his three sons. The police found them both in the ground not far from a ranch on the side of the road. They were beired were they were found. In Camarena’s home town they made red ribbon week in 1988.
